ABOUT YAI

Preferring to use just her first name, Spanish-born YAI moved to America in her early 20s and now lives and works in Los Angeles. YAI draws inspiration from the world of pop art and cartoons — a style that is bright, vibrant and occasionally sarcastic, but most importantly to YAI, always positive.

She’s had solo and group art exhibitions along with painting murals throughout the United States. One of her murals is featured at the famous Amoeba Records in Los Angeles. She’s also had her art featured on a full page in the Los Angeles Times.
